The Oak Neck Falcons Lacrosse Teams and the Doc’s NYC Lacrosse Teams participated in a day long event raising awareness about blood cancer and raised $10,000 for the HEADstrong Foundation’s Score for the Cure Program. The funds were raised by players obtaining pledges based on total goals scored for the day. All age brackets participated from 3rd grade through 6th grade playing a total of 6 games. The Colleluori Family was on hand for the festivities. Special thanks to Bob Quinn, Oak Neck Falcons and Ben Kaminow, Doc’s NYC for orchestrating the event and to Oak Neck Booster’s Al Staab, Helen Piscitello, Dave and Kathy Rapelje, Patty Minicozzi and to the generosity of the community of Bayville.
