DESCRIPTION:BOATING COURSE\n \nU.S. Department of Transportation | United States Coast Guard Auxiliary \nFor boat & jet ski operators ages 10 through adult \nNew York State Law requires that all boat operators under the age of 18 MUST complete a boating safety course and ALL jet ski operators\, regardless of age\, must complete the same course. \nStarts Monday\, March 7th\, 2016\nat the\nBayville Community Center\n88 Bayville Avenue\nBayville\, NY 11709\n6:00pm to 8:00pm \nConducted by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary\, Flotilla 12-3\, in cooperation with the Inc. Village of Bayville. There with be four sessions: March 7th\, 21st\, 28th\, and April 4th.\nUpon completion\, participants will receive the certificate required by New York State for boaters and jet ski operators. \nIt is mandatory you attend all four sessions to receive certification. There will be no exceptions. There will be extensive homework. Please be prepared to take notes. Students must pass a written final exam. \nOpen to Bayville residents only.\nResidents must register prior to February 29th\, 2016. Class size is limited to 30 students.\nTo register call Donna at 516-628-1439 ext. 116 \nALL ADULTS: There is an additional fee of $10 charged by New York State to receive your certificate once you have passed the written final exam. Children’s certificates are free.
