For boat & jet ski operators ages 10 through adult

New York State Law requires that all boat operators under the age of 18 MUST complete a boating safety course and ALL jet ski operators, regardless of age, must complete the same course.

Conducted by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 12-3, in cooperation with the Inc. Village of Bayville. There with be four sessions: March 7th, 21st, 28th, and April 4th.
Upon completion, participants will receive the certificate required by New York State for boaters and jet ski operators.

It is mandatory you attend all four sessions to receive certification. There will be no exceptions. There will be extensive homework. Please be prepared to take notes. Students must pass a written final exam.

Open to Bayville residents only.
Residents must register prior to February 29th, 2016. Class size is limited to 30 students.

ALL ADULTS: There is an additional fee of $10 charged by New York State to receive your certificate once you have passed the written final exam. Children’s certificates are free.
